Since its opening in September 2001, BEXCO has constantly received international spotlight for successfully hosting large-scale events such as the 2002 FIFA Korea/Japan World Cup (final draw ceremony), 2004 ITU Telecom Asia, 2005 APEC Summit, 2006 UNESCAP Ministerial Conference on Transport, 2008 JCI ASPAC, 2009 OECD World Forum, 2010 World Congress on Intelligent Transport System, 2011 International Association of Ports and Harbors and 2012 Lions Club International Convention.

Located in the heart of the famous Haeundae Beach resort district, BEXCO features over 46,500㎡ of exhibition space capable of housing over 3,000 booths with maximum floor load of 3-5 ton per square meter and 49 meeting rooms in various sizes. In June 2012, BEXCO completed its ambitious expansion project to add a new state-of-the-art 4,000 seat auditorium and a new exhibition center to satisfy the needs of its international clients and to become Asia’s most competitive convention center.
